| Purus Navitas have recently installed a heat pump in house in Oxford. The house in question was being completely renovated and the new owners decided to take the opportunity to install a heat pump which was put in under the drive as they did not want the garden to be dug up as it was already landscaped.
The heat pump pipes were dug in under the drive way at a depth of 2m, this achieved by drilling down to 60m before the loop system of pipes was installed. The Nibe heat exchangers were installed in the basement - allowing for easy access for servicing and utilising spare space in the house.
The heat pumps were then connected to underfloor heating radiaters that had been installed throughout the house providing a constant heat throughout the house. The heat pumps will help reduce energy costs over the coming years making the investment more than worthwhile. |
