New stables allow installation of rainwater harvesting system Wheatley, Oxfordshire A Rewatec system was installed in February 2007 using a plastic collection tank which collected water from the new stable blocks that were built at this property. The water collected by the Rewatec system is now used to feed all the property's stable yard and garden taps.
This system was connected in to the existing infrastructure which allowed 2 washing machines in the house to be run from the gathered water. Water pressure from the Rewatec system is a very respectable 5 bar some 4 times the national average. This gives the added benefit and reassurance that the house should never be without water if there is a mains problem.
